Revolution: Fortune Favours the Brave Review

September 21, 2016

A few months ago I saw FabulousHannah post a photo of this palette on her snapchat and since have been waiting to get my hands on it! Retailing at £9.99 in Superdrug, this palette is one that so many people have been trying to get hold of.

This week I have finally found it in the local Superdrug store, and with their Fresher's 20% off, I managed to get it for £7.99 which is an absolute bargain.

The palette has a range of different colours from pinks, browns and blues, which is great as it makes it very versatile.

A lot of the shadows are very pigmented, especially the black shade 'Blaqua' as there aren't many drugstore shadows that manage to do this. The shimmer shades are great as they show the glimmer, however isn't chunky glitter.

The palette also comes with a double ended eyeshadow brush, however, I am not really a fan of it as it doesn't work very well with the shadows themselves. Normally quite pigmented, the shadows are pretty much unnoticeable when using the brush in the palette.

From left to right: Fortune, Skylight, Golden Coins, Green Machine, Pink Diamond, Drama Queen, Favour, Sunset Hour, Super Gold, and Brave.

Personally I think this palette is great value for money. The shadows are great and the gold packaging looks very professional, especially with the black lettering. I think the palette is great for people on a budget, and is very good for a night out/ party look.
