One of my 2017 goals is to get healthier. The goal isn't weight orientated, it's about getting fitter and having healthier habits such as eating healthier, drinking more water and exercising more.
A few years back, me and my sister went running everyday and managed to improve our fitness whilst doing so. She then went back to uni, and I just stopped working hard to be fit. But this year I aim to get back to a place I am happy with. Therefore, I am making a list of the goals I'd like to meet by the end of the year.
Eat healthier
I would really like to make small changes in what I eat to make it healthier, especially snacks. When I'm in uni, I go through periods of time making good meals, but then I also go through periods of eating meals that aren't so good for you.
Exercise more
I want to try and do a workout at least once a week over the next year, which is a big goal for me. I don't really have a sport or anything I participate in, so I'm not really sure what I'll be doing but this week I did some running.
Become more fit
As well as exercising more, I also want to improve my fitness. For example over the next few months I want to improve my speed and distance in running.
Improve strength
If you know me personally, you will probably know that there are many running jokes that I am the weakest person ever. So this year I want to improve my strength.
Do you have any fitness tips or tricks?
I need to improve on everything you've mentioned, especially the strength one hahaa getting there though at the minute!
