One of my favourite things to do when I have nothing much to do is to read blog posts. I love showing people appreciation and giving them recognition for all their hard work, so I thought I would start a series where I share my favourite blog posts of the month!
So in no particular order, here are my favourite blog posts I have read this month....

WHY YOU ARE A GIRL BOSS IF YOU BLOG BY CHARLIE FRIEND
A few weeks ago, I started doubting myself, but this blog post really made me look at my blog, and be proud of it and what I have achieved and experienced since. Just like Charlie says, it takes guts to put yourself out there, especially when people you know personally can see it and judge you. Another reason this post made me super proud of myself was the part about going to events by yourself and meeting new people. I am a very anxious person, and the fact that I went against everything I felt and pushed myself to go to an event which was full of people I didn't know and talk to lots of people is something I'm so happy for. If you ever begin to doubt yourself for blogging, or other people doubt you, definitely go read this!
The lovely people over at Beauty Essentials sent me this
dry brush cleaner to test out. At first, I wasn’t really sure what I was
expecting it to look like inside when it came. It sorts of resembles a hair
doughnut texture if that makes sense and honestly, I was quite sceptical of how well it
would work.
Last summer I realised that I take a lot of care with my skin, but didn't take that much care of my hair. So I then decided to buy some new products to make my hair healthy. I have used these products for a few months now, and made changes such as not using as much heat on my hair, and I have really noticed the difference!
OGX Argon Oil of Morocco Shampoo and Conditioner
I use two different shampoo and conditioners, and this is the first ones. This combination makes my hair super soft when I use it and feels very moisturised too. I tend to use this combination around once every two weeks.
Back in October, I attended my first ever blogging event in London with The Bloggers Hub and Bloggers Who Brunch. Before going, I was super apprehensive about going, especially as I was going on my own. However, on my way back to Bristol that day, I realised how silly it was that I was so scared. A few weeks later in November, I attending my second event and was much more positive going to that event. So I thought I would share some tips for attending your first blogging event.
One of my 2017 goals is to get healthier. The goal isn't weight orientated, it's about getting fitter and having healthier habits such as eating healthier, drinking more water and exercising more.
A few years back, me and my sister went running everyday and managed to improve our fitness whilst doing so. She then went back to uni, and I just stopped working hard to be fit. But this year I aim to get back to a place I am happy with. Therefore, I am making a list of the goals I'd like to meet by the end of the year.
I know it's already January and Christmas is now over and done with, but I thought I would still share with you some of my favourite things I got for Christmas.
I was so happy to get this candle from my sister because it's one of my favourite scents ever from Yankee Candle (although if you don't like sickly sweet scents, this one is not for you). And it also will look pretty on the fireplace in my uni room!
