Primark Super Matte Liquid Lipstick Review

I first heard about these when testing beauty brands were the most popular videos on YouTube. So every time I went into Primark, I would try and pick one up, but they were all always open. But I finally got my hands on some recently and decided to pick up two shades and try them out.

The first shade I picked up was very different for me, and I was very apprehensive about how it would look on me, because let's face it, I'm about tanned as a piece of paper! I'd describe it as a grey toned lilac.

The second shade I picked up was a colour I wear pretty much every autumn/winter, who doesn't really?! But I don't think I own a matte version of it, so I thought I'd pick it up too.

Firstly, the applicator makes the product so easy to apply because it is on a small angle. I actually think the application is really easy, even with out lining your lips.

The only time it really cakes and goes uneven is when you apply a layer that is super thick, but apart from that, it is great.

Throughout the day, it only really wears off when drinking, and re-application is quite difficult if not careful, as it can mean that it goes uneven and cakey.
