APPS EVERY BLOGGER SHOULD HAVE

April 23, 2017

Apart from writing my posts, I do the majority of all the other things for blogging via my phone, as I assume lots of people do! I rely so heavily on these apps, and think they are great for bloggers to have on the go, so I decided to create a list of apps that every blogger should have!

TWITTER

If you are anything like me, twitter is the platform that I use the most for blogging. I use it to share my posts, to communicate with other bloggers, and to interact in blogger chats. Without twitter and the other bloggers I met through it, I definitely believe I wouldn't still be creating content. Yes, occasionally there is drama, but if you avoid that part, there's actually a really supportive community!

INSTAGRAM

Instagram has always been a huge platform for bloggers. It's a space where you can share some of your blog photos and gain traffic on your blog. However, with recent changes to the algorithm, interaction is dropping. But this doesn't change my opinion much about using the app. I think if you have a supportive community, they will like and comment as much as they did before.

UN UM

If you want to create an Instagram theme, I 100% recommend this app! It connects to your Instagram account, shows your feed from Instagram. It then gives you the option to insert photographs into UNUM, so then you can see what your feed would look like before posting a photo!

VSCO

In my opinion, VSCO is one of the best free editing apps that you can get on your phone. And if you look on Pinterest there are so many themes you can create with different settings. There are more filters you can purchase, however I think the ones that automatically come on the app are good enough if you didn't have the money or didn't want to spend the money on filters.

GOOGLE DRIVE

As someone who does rely on their phone a lot when on the move, Google Drive really helps when trying to get things from my phone to my computer really fast. Especially with the fact that you can type word documents, as well as upload photographs.

  1. I have the majority of these apps, but I do find that Buffer is a useful one for scheduling your tweets!
